As the owner of this website, I inform you that we do not use any personal information from cookies; we only produce general visit statistics that do not involve any personal information. It is very important that you read this cookie policy and understand that, if you continue browsing, we will consider that you accept their use. Under the terms of article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, if you continue browsing, you will be giving your consent to the use of the aforementioned mechanisms.

The entity responsible for the collection, processing and use of your personal data, within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Act, is the Horizon CX website, owned by Horizon CX

What are cookies?

Cookies are a set of data that a server deposits in the user's browser to collect standard Internet log information and information about visitors' behaviour on a website. In other words, they are small text files stored on the computer's hard drive that identify the user when they connect to the website again. Their purpose is to record the user's visit and store certain information. Their use is common and frequent on the web because it allows pages to work more efficiently and achieve greater personalisation and analysis of user behaviour.

What types of cookies are there?

The cookies used on our website are session and third-party cookies, and they allow us to store and access information relating to the language, the type of browser used and other general characteristics predefined by the user, as well as to track and analyse the activity carried out, in order to introduce improvements and provide our services in a more efficient and personalised way.

Depending on how long they last, cookies can be divided into session cookies or persistent cookies. Those that expire when the user closes the browser. Those that expire when the purpose they serve has been fulfilled (for example, so that the user remains identified in Horizon CX services) or when they are deleted manually.

In addition, depending on their purpose, cookies can be classified as follows:

Performance cookies

This type of cookie remembers your preferences for the tools found in the services, so you do not have to configure the service again each time you visit. Examples of this type include: volume settings for video or sound players; video streaming speeds that are compatible with your browser; items saved in the "shopping cart" in e-commerce services such as stores.

Geolocation cookies

These cookies are used to find out which country you are in when a service is requested. This cookie is completely anonymous and is only used to help tailor content to your location.

Registration cookies

Registration cookies are generated once the user has registered or has subsequently opened a session, and they are used to identify the user in the services for the following purposes: to keep the user identified so that, if they close a service, the browser or the computer and return to that service at another time or on another day, they will still be identified, making browsing easier without having to log in again. This feature can be disabled if the user clicks [log out], so that this cookie is deleted and the next time they enter the service they will have to log in to be identified. To check whether the user is authorised to access certain services, for example to take part in a competition. In addition, some services may use connectors to social networks such as Facebook or Twitter. When the user registers for a service with social network credentials, they authorise the social network to store a persistent cookie that remembers their identity and guarantees access to the services until it expires. The user can delete this cookie and revoke access to the services via social networks by updating their preferences on the specific social network.

Analytics cookies

Each time a user visits a service, a tool from an external provider generates an analytics cookie on the user's computer. This cookie, which is only generated during the visit, will be used on subsequent visits to Horizon CX services to identify the visitor anonymously. The main objectives are: to allow anonymous identification of browsing users through the cookie (it identifies browsers and devices, not people) and therefore an approximate count of the number of visitors and their trend over time. To identify anonymously the most visited content and therefore the content most attractive to users. To know whether the user accessing the site is new or returning. Important: unless the user decides to register for a Horizon CX service, the cookie will never be associated with any personal data that could identify them. These cookies will only be used for statistical purposes that help optimise the user experience on the site.

Advertising cookies

This type of cookie makes it possible to expand the information about the ads shown to each anonymous user on Horizon CX services. Among other things, the duration or frequency of viewing of advertising placements, interaction with them, or the user's browsing patterns and/or behaviour are stored, because they help build a profile of advertising interest. In this way, they make it possible to offer advertising aligned with the user's interests.

Third-party advertising cookies

In addition to the advertising managed by Horizon CX websites in their services, Horizon CX websites offer their advertisers the option of serving ads through third parties ("Ad-Servers"). In this way, these third parties may store cookies sent from Horizon CX services from users' browsers, as well as access the data stored in them. The companies that generate these cookies have their own privacy policies. Horizon CX websites currently use the DoubleClick (Google) platform to manage these services. For more information, please refer to http://www.google.es/policies/privacy/ads/#toc-doubleclick y a http://www.google.es/policies/privacy/ads/.

How can I disable cookies in my browser?

The different browsers can be configured to warn the user when cookies are received and, if desired, to prevent them from being installed on the device. The user can also review in their browser which cookies are installed and what their expiry period is, and can delete them. For more information, see your browser's instructions and manuals.
